We have 2-4 select litters of top quality pups a year.Quality,temperament and health are of the utmost importance to us and we strive to place the right pup with the right person.Our pups are handled daily from birth and come with a full,written guarantee,1st series of Vaccinations& wormings and record of this,AKC registration application,extended pedigrees of parents,socialized and healthy! We serve a local,National and International clientel so shipping is not a problem.However,due to recent changes in International Shipping policies there is additional charges for shipping outside US & Canada.Most our pups are spoken for by clients who have placed deposits and were put on a waiting list before the pups are born.This is the only way to insure the client his/her pup and their place in the order of pick.If you have a interest in any specific litter or planned breeding,Please contact Jill for more info. |

Timberhaus K-9/Zwinger von dem Walkonig is a small kennel facility and farm located just outside of Eatonville,WA in the foothills beautiful Cascade Mts.Our dogs are first and foremost,family companions.They are very much a part of our life and MUST have the temperament to be able to take camping,into crowds of people,etc.We feel that it has been far too acceptable for workingline GSD's to have extremely high aggression and defensiveness.Yes,this dog looks great on the schutzhund field but the practicality of real life is that dog is a huge liabilty! All of our dogs can work,most are even pronounced in the protection phase.They absolutely will work in a real situation but are also clear-headed and social ,they can assertain the difference between a threat and someone that is not threatening,such as a child.I have been involved with dogs for 35 yrs,GSD's for 22 yrs.I was raised in a family of farmers/ranchers so animals of all types have always been a huge part of my life.As a young child ,if I wasnt bringing home strays,conveniently"winning"ducks at the local fair or making friends with the neighbors chained aggressive dobermans,I would be taking my Grandfather's cattle dogs and training them to do obedience routines! I have worked my entire life with animals..Vet assistant,Show horse farm managment,assistant breeding manager of horse farm,dog training,Boarding kennel management,Animal Control...you name it! My goal as a steward of the greatest dog breed on the planet, is to breed a German Shepherd that is true to what they were meant to be..a hardy,loyal and intelligent working dog of great temperament, health,conformation, courage,balanced drives and good bone structure and substance.A dog that is just as much of a joy to live with as they are to work. For these traits I prefer the European working lines with heavy emphasis on the rare,old DDR(East German) bloodlines. The following is what I call my "B"system of breeding! Bloodlines: We have only the absolute best,proven European workinglines.Without a good genetic background,you have no future....temperament,conformation,health and working ability are all hereditary! Most of our breeding stock are Schutzhund titled or have a equivilent title from their country of origin with the best hip scores and koering/breed survey from that country.They also have conformation/show ratings of either V (excellent) or SG(very good). Brains Our dogs are chosen for their great temperaments,high trainability,balanced drives and willingness to please. Brawn Without sacrificing conformation or standards,we prefer a larger,substantially built dog of greater bone size,a broad,deep chest and beautiful blocky head type. Blacks Ok,this isnt a must to be part of the breeding program but we are partial to solid blacks! |

Boarding |
We do offer private boarding on a limited basis.We are not a "commercial"boarding facility. Rate is 12.00 a day. |
